Ballarat Athletes excel at Victorian State Relay Championships!
We’re thrilled to share the outstanding performances of our Ballarat teams over the weekend at the Victorian State Relay Championships held in Doncaster! This year was a small representation, but we still made our mark as usual.
We started the day with our 40+ Women’s 4x1500m team who claimed gold with an incredible time of 22:21.29m, not giving the any of the other teams a chance with a victory of over 50 seconds!
The next event was the Open Men’s Medley, and they did not disappoint securing a 3rd place finish with an overall time of 3:37.15m. They showed great speed and competitiveness across the different distances of the event.
Our last event was the U18 Men’s 4x800m. The team finished in 8th place from a large and highly competitive field of 13. They crossed the line in a time of 8:32.88m
Huge shout-out to the athletes who made the journey down and represented the centre, and for their performances.
