Athletics Victoria Shield League (AVSL) Competition in Ballarat 2023/24 – Everything you need to know

The AVSL season is returning in 2023/24 with athletics fun over the summer with more opportunities to compete for your club! Ballarat will once again be an AVSL venue with 12 rounds of competitions being conducted at Llanberris Reserve in Ballarat https://athsvic.org.au/avsl/

To engage in the fun of the AVSL season, members are encouraged to register with Athletics Victoria on a base membership and either purchase a track & field package from AV, or a Ballarat package. The Ballarat package will allow the participant to compete for their club in all 12 rounds of AVSL in Ballarat only with the AV package allowing the user to compete at other metro venues during the season.

Ballarat will once again be conducting their own entries for the season, to enter your events each round, you will need to fill out a Google Form which now be found within the events page on our new website https://bracballarat.com.au/events/. Participants will need to enter their events each round through the form which will be posted to social media and located within the events page on the BRAC website the Sunday prior to the round beginning.

If joining for the full season is not your thing, you can register as a base member and then pay per round entry, saving money throughout the year. To understand the full membership details, check out the athletics Victoria website here
