The BRAC AVSL Awards 2023/24 were held on Saturday 16th March at the Yacht Club!
Over 60 members attended the event to celebrate the end of season awards with Wendouree Athletics Club taking out the major club awards with a terrific season which saw them promoted to Premier Division in Athletics Victoria Results.
In the individual awards, Yual Reath took home the Paul Schnyder trophy given to the most outstanding male athlete across the season. Reath took to the skies this season with a NEW BRAC record High Jump of 2.28m in Round 12.
Mackayla Culvenor then took out the Sandra Given trophy given to the most outstanding female athlete in the season. Culvenor had several high level performances including a NEW BRAC Long Jump record of 5.81M
