Benbow brothers break Ballarat Regional Athletic Centre records

Brothers Lachlan and Leigh Benbow have both broken Ballarat Regional Athletic Centre (BRAC) records in the Hammer throw on the same weekend! Lachlan within the Men U20 threw 51.46 metres to claim the record to now have claim on the U18 & U20 BRAC record. Brother Leigh then followed on to break the Men U14 Hammer record with a throw of 30.77 metres breaking his own record in the process.

Both records were recorded at Llanberris Athletics Reserve during Round 2 of AVSL.

Along with sister Alyssa, the Benbow family now hold several records across Discus, Shot Put, Hammer and Javelin. Well done to the Benbows on their achievements.
